What is the correct term?? I am going to asia soon and have been looking on ebay to purchase a charger that will be able to plug into there sockets...

  1. if you're referring to the one that converts a round plug to a flat plug or vice versa or the English three pronged massive plug to round or flat, don't worry about it (yes they are called adapters) they are readily available in any hardware store or even grocery store.

    if you're talking about the voltage (most countries in asia operate in 220v 50amps wherein US and European countries operate in 110v 51amps) you can easily buy a transformer which scales down the voltage to your liking. your typical AVR can do that. check your charger. chances are it's already autovolt, meaning it can operate in 40v-240v.
