What do you call the board game where you have a glass and to do with ghosts?

there is a board game and i cant think of the name of it........... its where you have to have a glass and something to do with ghosts do you know the name of the board game

As others have said it's ouija, but it is pronounces weeya.

The word itself comes from the word yes in French (oui) and yes in German (ya).

As others have said don't dabble, it's not a game

A ouija (often pronounced "wee-gee" or called weegee box) is any flat surface printed with letters, numbers, and other symbols, to which a planchette or movable indicator points, supposedly in answer to questions from people at a séance. The fingers of the participants are placed on the planchette that then moves about the board to spell out messages. Speaking from personal experience... DONT DO IT!!!!!

I spent the night at a friends house one night and the 6 of us played with one. Lets just say we got so freaked out that we took the game out to the dumpster at midnight... when we went to get a diff game outta the closet around 2 the d**n thing was back in the closet.

We tried to get rid of it numerous times and to this day the thing still ends up back in the closet...

Once you play with one your stuck with it.

Cheez-whiz, people, can NO ONE spell it correctly?? It's "OUIJA BOARD," the ouija meaning oui=yes (French) and ja="yes" in German. The modern Ouija Board uses a plastic planchette which moves over a board with "yes," "no," "good-bye," letters and numbers printed on it. But it can be played with a glass or dish and any letters, or even objects, laid out on a table. It's supposedly used to contact spirits, though some might argue all it does it tap into the subconscious of the user(s). Forms of this "game" have been around for centuries.
