What do you call the pairing of a bridesmaid/groomsman?

Does the pairing itself have a name? Is there a specific term for this in any culture? "Wedding party couple" didn't sound right...it sounds as if the two are actually a couple.

                                      Jessica Smith

                   Brides college roommate and best friend

                                       Escorted by

                                       Kurt Thomas

                              Grooms childhood Friend

    If they he/she is the MOH or Best man , like this

                                      Becca Gale

                        Maid of Honour, Brides best friend

                                     Escorted by

                                      John Doe

                       Best Man ,  Brother of the groom

    You would do the same for flower girls and others    Be sure to list them in the order that they will go down the aisle.

    Or list them separately   and dont worry about pairing them off.  that is also very common
