What do you call this type of person?

Question

All I can think of is overbearing. My sister treats our house like she owns it. When I have the water running she'll walk over and start using it when I'm about to wash my hands. When I'm by the cupboards she'll walk over to me without saying excuse me and either push me aside or put her arm over me so it's like her body is towering over me to take a cup out of the cupboard. These are examples that she just did to me. She also always has a smile on her face that doesn't look happy but really pompous. What would you call this type of person?

  I would say self centered  and  arrogant. Maybe you could buy her a book on respect & manners.

A generally average relative. I'd call them my in laws! Hahahaha - well - I call them control freaks, arrogant and condescending. They call me the outlaw. Isn't amazing that we love each other anyway??? Mine drive me bananas. Good thing I've got my immediate family - my husband and kids - they make make it all worth it.

Selfish and rude. Not overbearing. She needs to be put in her place. Talk to your parents about her behavior.

My question is:  Why do you let her treat you this way in your own house?

I hope you don't have kids...if they see this behavior, they will learn that it's ok to bully people, and that when someone bullies them, they should just back down.

Do we have the same sister???  Mine is the same way...I find that type of behaviour pompus and self centred.  She must be an older sister because from my experience older siblings always treat the younger ones like that.  It is a carry over from when you were younger.  You have to speak up next time she does things like that otherwise she will continue doing it.

my sisters and i do this kinda stuff all of the time. She is just being annoying like all sisters do. You need to except that everyone has faults and that you just have to deal with them with a smile on your face. Im sure that there are things that you do to her that are annoying, and she doesn't ask a random group of strangers how she should put you in your place.
