What do you call this when harvesting crabs (tagalog)?

i was harvesting crabs (also fish and shrimp) in the philippines in the mud and was paid 200 piso for the day. What is this job called?

--nag trabaho ako dun sa mga fields nag bunot kame ng mga alimango, P 200 lang isang araw. anong tawag sa trabaho 'ito

i thought i heard it was dapat?

--kala ko ang tawag sa trabaho, Dapat?

Sa Pilipinas, nanghuhuli kami ng mga alimango (pati na isda at hipon) sa may putikan. Dalawang daang piso ang bayad sa amin kada araw. Ano ang tawag sa trabaho na 'to?

You are right, mangisda is to fish. Kapa - feel around is rather vague. Manghuli is to catch and I feel that is the more appropriate term. And yeah we do use "manghuli ng alimango".

I dont think if theres a particular name of that job.

But I thnk it is "nangingisda". nangingisda means fishing..
