  1. there are many things that float in the air. dust and pollen come to mind quickly.

  2. dust?

  3. Dust. Suspended particulates.

  4. DUST!

  5. If your talking just about the particles in regual old air then it would be dust...this could be anything from tiny peices of fabric to skin particles to pollen to spores etc...

When the air has enough dust in it (to almost become colloidial) and a ray of light hits it theres something that happens called the Tyndall Effect.  This is the process of light hitting colloidial particles (or particles very evenly spaced in a medium) and making them visible to the naked eye wheres as they would be invisible.  Think about it, you really cant see dust when its around you, but when there is direct sunlight it becomes visible

  6. I'm with everyone else your seeing floating dust particles.

  7. Dust, Dirt, Particles, atoms

  8. Common house dust. About the only time it looks good!

  9. Dust..
