  3. Airport Check-in desk staff.

  4. airline check-in clerks

  5. land hostess/steward

  6. check in assisstant

  7. Agents; some are customer service, passenger service, but not flight attendants in that they are stuck on the ground.

  8. check in staff ???

  9. I love your so called aspirations in life ... touching!

    Not exactly high expectations.

  10. In the US, the people that work at the airport check-in or ticket counters are referred to as Ticket Agents.  They are the ones who will check you into your flight, give you seat assignments, take your checked baggage (or give you the luggage tag before you lug it over to the x-ray), etc.

Gate Agents, as the name suggests, work at the counters at the gates.  They can change your seat assignment, scan your tickets as you board, call out the standby's and upgrades, etc.

  11. That's simple, they are called "airport check in desk" people!

  12. Ground crew.

  13. They are usually called "angry unhelpful woman at the check-in counter".

  14. Normally called Customer Service or Passenger Services assistants or agents.

  15. Its where you check in to make sure your flight has not left yet or information, or when the next flight comes and leaves.

  16. They are the people too fat, ugly or thick to be air cabin crew so I suppose you could call them the FACs - failed aircabin crew! Or on a more serious note check in staff.

One thumbs down from a FAC online tonight!

  17. workers? lol!!

  18. They are actually just air-stewardesses/stewards, who sometimes work on the desks if they arent on the planes.
