What do you call those reminders outside the school? it's usually red and white.?

i find those things on movies. and i'm not from america so i'm kinda wondering what those are called. hmm. cmon this must be easy for you.

I call them annoying.  xD  But Wikipedia says:

Marquee (sign), used in American English to mean a signage above a stage or movie theater >>>or a sign that displays messages such as those used in front of churches and schools.<<<
