What do you call your cousin's cousin(who is her father's neice)?

so i have a cousin who has a cousin in her father's side.

am i related to her? if so, how am i related to her?

is she still my cousin?

  1. if her father isn't your blood relative, then people on his side are not related to you at all...if her father is your blood relative (the brother of one of your parents) then anyone blood related to him, would also be related to you...your cousins' cousin would also be a cousin to you.

  3. Cousin in law would be my guess since your cousins father is your Uncle in Law and your talking about his niece from one of his siblings. Most people today wouldn’t consider your cousins cousin to be anything however in the olden days you’d probably just have refer to her as cousin in law.

    Alas everyone is cousins in some way, since everyone can trace their roots back to a small tribe of people eons ago.
