  1. The most common method of carrying casino chips is what is known as a "rack".  It will typically hold 5 rows of 20 chips.  You know you are doing good when you are getting up from a table and have to ask the dealer to get you some racks, the more the better.

With that being said, if you have only a small number of chips you carry them in your hand.  There was a time I used to carry them in my pocket, but one time I was doing laundry after a good trip to Vegas I found a couple of black chips ($100.) in my pocket and I was back in Georgia, so I ended up with an expensive souviner from my trip. Needless to say, I no longer put chips in my pocket.

  2. Sometimes you can ask the dealer to color up your chips so you can carry them in your hand on the way to the cashier.

  3. If it's a small amount, I'll just hold it in my hands.

If it's too much for my hands, then I'll use a cup.

And in my dreams, I'll use a bucket.

  4. Smaller wins, I'll use my pockets. Larger wins, I'll use cups or ask for chip carriers. My pockets usually serve me well however.

  5. I never place them in open pockets particularly when i am carring purple or higher.  Most of the times i keep them in the inside zipper pocket fo my coat, or in a plastic bag inside a coat pocket.  When i shop for coats, i always buy one with lots of inside coat pockets, and zipper pockets.

Small amounts i just carry in my hands though
