  1. If I can't understand what they are saying on the song that is noise to me. Unless it has a good beat it won't matter to me.


  2. It's got to reach your ears. I don't know how else to explain, but noise doesn't affect you and music does. No band plays only noise, but Fall Out Boy, I think, has quite a few songs that are just nonsense.

  3. To me...I cannot listen to a vocalist that sound like the cookie monster. Explain to me how that is talent? Who can't sing like that? For that matter, why would you....But that is me, I am sure that their are people that prefer Death metal over a band like Queen.

    BUT

    Another man's noise is another man's music.



  4. I listen to Death metal which alot of people dont consider music.....and I agree, the vocals aren't very melodic.  But its the instrumentation that grab my attention, and i think of the vocals as being part of the sound rather than the focal point....like freddy mercury of queen.
