  1. they wore zoot suits, rode scooters, and listened to r&b music

  2. Twiggy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twiggy

And I guess everyone in the 60's didn't feel like driving cars, so they opted for scooters.

  3. haha I think it's like the time period as far as the scooters go..

But it was around the time that the model "Twiggy" was out and about, I'm not sure about the actual years though...

Umm but it's really just very basic fashion with bold prints.. only a few colors and once, big bold prints like polka dots or big flowers, big earrings witht he same shape/color as your "print", big hair..

    just big

    jsut big and basic.

  4. Firstly I think of Quadrophenia :), it appears to me that Jimmy had a very special bond with his scooter -he did wreck it after the brawl in Brighton but I know he really loved it to pieces. Mod (originally modernist, sometimes capitalised) is a subculture that originated in London in the late 1950s and peaked in the early to mid 1960s. I think of tailored suits and African American soul, Jamaican ska, and British beat music. I think of Twiggy- cropped hair, big lashes and retro clothing.

I like mods- even though I wasn't alive.

  5. reminds me of the 1960's   :))
