What do you do about Bullies?

Do you try to stop it? do you participate? do you ignore it if you see it? How do you deal with bullies, and why?

Most of these 'bullies' are hard on the outside, but gooey on the inside.....

The bully was once the bullied.....they are just giving back what the world once gave them.

Someone has to intervene to end the cycle.

Its not easy to stand up to a bully....but if you hold your ground ....he/she will definitely back Off.

Edit: As for verbal bullies.....ignore them, when they don't get the attention they crave for....they will stop.

I intercede if I see it happening.

Bullies are easy to deal with - they're just cowards putting on a brave front.

well if i saw someone getting bullied i would intervene and beat the **** out of the bully and then see if the victim was ok.  I would do this because i can and want to.
