  1. go in person and ask to speak with the manager or person in charge of hiring. tell them that you are interested in a job with their company. when you get an interview, send a thank you note to the person who interviewed you. thank them for their time and that it was a pleasure to meet them. you could also mention some qualities that you have that would benefit the company in which you are trying to get hired. also, even if the dress code for the place you are trying to get hired is jeans, don't wear jeans. don't have to go in your sunday best, but wear something nice - and make sure it isn't wrinkled!!! happy job hunting!!!

  2. All U can do is wait. It's always good 2 fill out more apps. My mother said that looking for a job is a full time job and that each day U should fill out 30 apps. Internet, door to door, employment agencies, etc. Keep looking, then U will be waiting on two or three employers to contact U and not just one. Hope U have a really pleasant voice on your answering machine. Don't just sit around waiting for that one job to call U back. U can be missing out on a better opportunity.

  3. Keep looking for jobs until you get hired. That and turn in the applications.

  4. 90% of your chance at having your application even looked at is your appearance and attitude when you fill it out.  You should always fill out your app on the spot, not take it home and bring it back later.  You should also never come apply with friends, relatives or children.  That is very innapropriate.  And come well dressed, even if it's for a job at a fast food place.  Remember dress for success.  At my job, if someone comes in looking trashy or bummed out or has babies with them, etc... we throw the app away as soon as they leave.

  5. you can always call to confirm that they have received your application form, and you can ask when you can expect to hear anything back.

  6. Call them back so you sound interested also go back and fill out another job application.

  7. Wait three days and do a "follow up" Call the person you submitted your application to. Ask if they have had a chance to look it over and if they have any questions for you.

  8. Call and talk to personal and tell them u put in an application and tel lthem how interested u are in the job and make sure u leave your name.

  9. i go along wirh jibbers
