  1. Call the police to report the theft.  Usually the police want to send an officer out to investigate where and when the theft took place.

  2. You need to file a report as soon as possible - whether it's at the PD or with an officer on the street..... it doesn't matter which. Most places, you could also do it over the phone.

    Also notify your insurance company.

  3. call it in, they have cars, they can come to you. call ins. too

  4. First of all I would report it to the local authority about the stolen car.  If you have the right documentation such as title of vehicle or insurance to get the vehicle identification number if you don't know your license plates.  The police officer should run the VIN (vehicle identification number) to find out the License Plates, Year, Make, Model, and registered owner.  Then the police officer will make a report and in some states they enter vehicles that are stolen in a database state and national wide.  If another police department or law enforcement agency run the license plates they will be advised if the vehicle is stolen.  After the officer finishes his report he will give you the assigned case number and possibly a telephone number to request the report.

  5. you can call

  6. Call the police/sheriff's department and make a report.  Then call your insurance compnay and give them the case number from the police report.

  7. You report it to your insurance company and police as well.

  8. Call the police and get a case number.  Also, if the vehichle was towed they would know.  They'll run a check.  Once you get your claim number you contact your insurance company.  If you had any personal ID or cards in the car you need to contact the banks and cancel your cards.

  9. the first thing i would do is call the police and get them looking for my car the call my insurance company and  let them know
