What do you do at Army Cadets?

  1. it does depend on what country you're in.  But generally the cadets follow the same rank system as the adult army - so you do skills training to go up in rank, as well as fitness, civics, wilderness & weapons training.  It should be noted that weapons training in most western countries is on a simulations range!  


  2. They try and make it as Military like as possible but they don't have Fitness requirement's, you don't get payed and you don't get sent on tour. There's also less opportunities for doing what we (The Army) do and they normally use older weapon's like Bolt Action Rifle's. But if you want to kill some free time, learn some new stuff and make some Friend's I would definitely go for the Cadet's, then you never know if you like it enough you may go to the TA/Reserves or even to the Regulars.
