Attend workshop (the para para workshop was fun)

Make random friends at the anime series photo shoot

Play volleyball with other anime lovers at the Holiday Inn lawn (at AnimeNext)

Hang out with your friends that came along with you

Organize a ManHunt game (hide-and-seek in the dark)

Seriously, many have opportunities to meet and greet guest speakers (usually people really involved in the business), there are showing of numerous anime shows (one I went to had the 'Dirty Thoughts are Bad' showing of all the really hentai animes), a lot of costume presentations and discussion groups.

If i was in anime convention i will:

- Seeing doujinshi

- Buy nice merchandise

- Seeing cosplay!

- and lots of good stuff!

You can take pictures of cosplayers, (always bring a camera)

pose for pictures if your in cosplay

Go to cosplay photoshoots

Go to panels

Go to signings

Go to raves

Shop in the dealers room

Shop in artists alley

Meet people

Larp (live action role play)

Play games in the game room

Dance where there is music

Join otakus in whatever they are doing. (IE being weird)

Go to workshops

Watch Animes in viewing rooms

Read manga in manga libraries

Walk around and take in all the sights! (so much fun)

Glomp a random person :3 (this is fun too)

get free stuff from big companies

get art viewed by professionals
