Botanical gardens are huge manicured gardens where you walk around, look at all the different varieties of flowers, plants and trees, take pictures and just soak up the scenery.  It should be a very relaxing day.

you go and look at different types of plants and flowers and trees and learn about them, what part of the world they come from and things of that sort. I love botanical gardens, the one where I live has this BEAUTIFUL japanese style garden, it's gorgeous!! I'm doing a photo shoot there soon... it's lovely.

Botany is the scientific study of plant life, a branch of biology. A Botanist studies plants.   Botanical Gardens are where they display large gardens of various plants for you to go see.  From Gardens in Desert areas to Tropical Forests.  ie The Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, to the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens. Each usually specializes in the diverse plant life of the region, but sometimes may be more diversified with plants from other regions.  Don't kid yourself you may become intrigued once inside.

Mainly just look at the diff. types of plants. There is tons, like bushes, trees, flowers, herbs.. and more. Mainly just walk down the trails and you can find info. about the plants usually.

It depends who your going with.

If your taking kids, your going to be chasing them everywhere.

If your going with your grandpa and grandma your going to get a lecture of  all the plants they raised all their lives.

If your going with your boyfriend/husband you may walk around talking about how pretty things smell and look

But it is all about looking at plants, I love it. Have a great time.

Well they are usually quite large with ponds and stuff so you walk around and look at flowers or just sit peacefully or take your family there, or, i think you can walk your dog or ride your bike, maybe not the last two but I think you can.
