I'm going from a tiny private school that I went to most of my life to a big public high school and I only know one person there. What do you usually do at freshmen orientation? Do you need to bring your bag, or any books and stuff?

  1. Congratulations for making it to high school!  The next four years could very well be the best years of your life!  How exciting!  :o)

Orientation is just to familiarize you with the layout of the school, where your lockers are, your classrooms, and you get a nice speech from the Principal.  You may wish to bring your books so you can place them in your locker.

  2. we had a freshman oreintation today called ignition

    this is wat  u do:

    udont need naything

they ususally give you a schedule adn they take u around for the tour of the school

play games with so you can get freinds

the group leaders talk to you

and then at the end you eat pizza

    haha

  3. basically you get together with all the kids in your grade (those that choose to attend) and you get your school schedule. they talk to you about rules and expectations. counselors talk about graduation credits and other stuff. then they take you on a tour of your school. you go to your locker and they might let you try the combination a few times so you can get used to it. then they take you to you to the classrooms of all the core classes, so they will take you to the english department, math, science, and history. they will give you an opportunity to ask questions and that's about it. you usually dont need to bring anything.

  4. you usually shouldnt need to bring anything..
