My dad and I signed up to go, so at the time slot we are in will there be like 10 other people each with their own car? Will we get to drive other cars as well? What else do you do for the expected "Hour and a half?"

  1. I was at the "Taste of Lexus" tour a couple of years ago. Not too sure about the one for Hyundai but at the Lexus one we got to drive the IS 350 prototype and others around a set track before it began selling on the market. We also got to drive BMW's for comparison. Pretty cool but a ton of people were there. The event pretty much confirmed what I already knew. That Lexus and BMW's were over hyped and overpriced. I'm glad Hyundai is popping the bubble on these guys with the Genesis.

  2. I'm going on 7/26/08 to the event at Fedex Field in Maryland.  I've been to similar events sponsored by Mazda and Chevy, and they didn't have competitor cars to drive.  Maybe they have a presentation to compare the Genesis with other cars, I haven't even seen a comparison review yet anyway.  Though the individual reviews say the Genesis lives up to its billing as a BMW/Lexus killer.
