  1. Tell her how old she looks.

  2. "Make friend with your enemy"... and your enemy's friends on the team.

Ignore her insulting and show her your power, your social/person skill, and how nice you can be to other seniors.

  3. Kick her @ss or suffer until she graduates. Your choice.

  4. vball teams are usually pretty close.  Keep practising.  If you're in a position to block her, do it.  Try really hard and laugh when she calls you a freshie.  It's usually just for fun when a senior does that.  She was a freshie years ago and now it's her turn to pin point someone.  A senior will usually pick a freshman who she likes and who's good.  It probably means she likes you.  If you don't know something, ask her for advise.  She'll probably take you under her wing (while teasing you for being a freshie of course)

  5. out play her to the best of your ability.  i know as an upperclassmen that you have to earn your respect on the court.  i'm sure once she see's that your not playing around and your serious, she'll let up.  look at it as a test.  good luck!

  6. don't take **** from no one.

i'm a senior. if anyone stands up to me (not fights back, just doesnt take anything) i have the uttmost respect for them

  7. Just focus on the game...you'll school the senior sooner than later.

  8. i hate to break it to ya, but get used to it, last year when i was a freshman, i was in the same situation, but after volleyball season was over, she was nice to me, so hang in there?

  9. ignore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Don't let it bother you and just ignore her. If you do that, then she will likely stop (or focus her insults on another freshman) since she is really just looking to get a response out of you. Just let your performance do the talking for you.

  11. show her u can play!

and then put popcorn in her locker

  12. Just remember that because she acts that way towards you, it's making her feel better that she can finally push someone else around that's not even her own age. This should give you a boost because she just looks pathetic picking on a freshman who has to learn the ropes. Also, shut her up by playing well. If you're still learning, at least play hard and the best you can. Try having a sense of humor (not that you don't, I don't know you) about the whole thing too. Smile and laugh along so it's as if it doesn't drive you crazy and that you can take a joke about being a newb. Another thing, because she has a crappy attitude, keep in mind that she probably won't even get anywhere with volleyball so all that talk is for absolutely nothing because after she graduates, she has no more volleyball and you still have 3 years of it. :] If she really is that good, let her have her fun or whatever it is. Try getting close to her. Learn how she does that hitting and get tips from her. Take away any skill you can from her to make youself better. Ever hear the saying "Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer"?

  13. Don't it get to you.  People do these things most of the time to get a reaction.  If you show it doesn't bother you she may leave you alone.  If she doesn't stop get smart or cocky right back.

  14. Show that you are proud of yourself.  Don't act shy and small around this senior.  No one should make you intimidated, least of all, a fellow team member.

  15. Please, stand up for yourself, she sounds like a low class bully who needs to put down someone else to feel better about herself-she sucks for that very reason, so stand up to her.

  16. simple.

    SHOW HER YOU CAN PLAY.

She's actually probably intimidated by you. She thinks that by putting you down, you'll give up.

so DON'T LET HER DO IT.

work hard and put her in her place!

    best of luck!

  17. Date the hottest senior you can, throw a major party, and deal with it, you'll get your revenge when you're a senior.

  18. they may be scared of the possibility that a freshamn is good as them and makes u want to play worse because they're afraid of having someone show them up

    ignore them

tell her its pretty pathetic how insecure she is

  19. ignore her, dont let her seem like she is intimidating you! what exactly is she doing, because it depends, we have a really cocky setter but then again she has a right to be cocky. im kind of cocky myself but my coach told me last season i was starting varsity as a junior. give me more of an eplanation and maybe i can help

  20. dont pay attention to her she is jus jealous cuz she knows ur better than her ;]
