What do you do if you cant sleep?

at night sometimes i cant sleep. is there something i can do instead of using pills to fall asleep faster?

    read a book.

    watch tv.

    stare at the walls.

  2. A warm bath while reading in the tub?  Drinking warm milk?  Listening to soft piano music with the lights out?     Meditation?

      

    No candles!!!! You don't want to fall asleep with candles burning.

    5. Leave your TV on (sometimes I can fall asleep with the TV on)

  5. Follow these steps

    Start breathing, analyze your breath, how it feels, how to cold air turns warm. Try to notice every aspect of your breath. Then. turn to your muscles,notice any tense spots, tense them more then release them. After, try relax those tense spots. Next, close your eyes and notice the "patterns" of your eyes lips, try to get every detail out of them, you'll be asleep by then.  

  6. drink hot milk and it shouldn't be sweetened

  7. i read a very boring book so that i can go to sleep

  8. try masturbating. it always tires me down and relieves stress. plus it gets your mind off of the things that are keeping you awake.

  9. Go running until you feel like you culd fall over then try sleeping you will be too tired to think about anything but sleep

  10. Lie in bed, arm out to the side.  Picture all of your problems in your hand.  Close your hand.  Make your fist tighter and tighter for eight seconds, then let go of your problems.  Relax for 10 seconds

    Repeat fifty times.  I'm asleep before 20.
