What do you do if you go camping.....??????

Um, dear your in for something new. If your preppy just don't go. It's fun if you like the out doors though. Make food over the camp fire, but if you're going to put it directly on the hot cinders please wrap it in foil. Oh, and hike and look for all sorts of creatures. Make sure not to leave food outside or you'll get animals. Also, look to see if the tent you're using has a rain fly and put a tarp under the tent. It's fun and totally cool. Pack extra everything and don't pack heels of any kind. Make sure there's a poncho or a rain coat in your suitcase. And pack lots of bug spray. Sun block and alo vera are also very handy. Go fishing if you can, I love it. And you must have s'mores.

Sleep in a tent, have a campfire in the morning and at night.  Take a hike and enjoy the redwoods around me, walk in the creek or drive out to the ocean.  That is what I do when I go to one place that I go camping.

Enjoy the sounds of the wilds...

watch birds...

take a hike..

look and smell the wildflowers...

sit on a rock and enjoy the view from a mountaintop..

read a book at camp resting in a hammock..

go swimming in a lake...

gather round the campfire and listen to the guitar while downing a few cold ones...

star gaze...

absorb the slower life and forget the TV, computer and iPod... take time to appreciate the beauty of the Natural... Have fun!!

go in the lakes, hike, climb trees, play around, there is tons to do

Hide under tarps and watch the rain pounding down, and try to avoid the places where the rainwater collects and then suddenly lets loose down the back of your neck.

Watch and count the drips coming in through the hole in your tent and try to keep the puddle that has formed on the tent floor from soaking into your sleeping bag.

If you are really bored, you could always run around in the rain in your last set of dry clothes.

roast marshamallows and weenies

tell scary stories around the campfire

watch the animals from a distance - take pictures

get bit by ticks >> wear white socks and use a good bug repellent such as Deep Woods OFF
