You'll probably have the same duties as the rest of the staff (making food, cleaning, etc...) but will also be in charge of making sure others are working, delegating responsibilities and possibly doing the schedules for those who work on your shift. Think of it like a "supervisor".

A manager ( hourly paid, not salary paid manager) I would suggest that you try for it, but beware most fast food places, you can't walk in and be manager. You must work your way up, and even if you did work there before, and were a manager, you'd still with the best of luck only go back as a manger in training. If you have never worked fast food, or quiznos just apply as crew. It's a lot harder then you may think, and you wouldn't want the extra responsibilities on you your first day. most shift managers of fast food are responsible for  things like schedules for all crew, waste count, preventative maintenance, handling any situation that might arise, food safety- making sure equipment keep their holding times etc. Good luck! P.s Even though there is an opening they will most likely want some one with a certain amount of years as being a manger in a fast food restaurant,  though not necessarily quiznos
