  1. My entire eighth grade class cried all day when we left school. It is normal, and you have to just let everyone express their emotions. It will pass soon for most of them. If you put together a list of everyone's phone number(s), e-mail address, screennames, etc. and passed it out or mailed it to everyone, no one would have to lose contact!

  2. Maybe have an end of the year party to celebrate another year accomplished, freedom of the summer, lazy days, etc. It's a happy way to celebrate the end of the year, not cry about it.

Make plans to meet with your friends throughout the summer so you don't lose contact and can have fun.

And don't worry before you know it the next school year will come and you'll wish you had one more day to sleep late.

  3. I can only tell you how i handle it:

I am an exchange student from Germany in Austin, Texas.

My last school day was sad, and for me it was a final goodbye because, i will never see all the people again, even many of my best friends, because a transatlantic flight costs about 1000$ just by itself...

and well no one really can afford that...

so that seems pretty sad, but:

I never focused on the loss of my friends but on the good times i had with them and thinking, that soon i will meet new people but the people ill leave behind will always remember me (at least, i hope ^^)

of course you need to go thru some hard times but for me it strengthened me because

    a) life goes on

    b) it feels good in your memory (if you are less sad about it)

    c) it makes you more used to those changes in the future (passing away of relatives, etc...)

  4. I wanted to cry but i did not bcuz no body else was..I flet out of [place...i hope this helped bye

  5. I'm really sorry! I hate summer because I won't see my friends during the summer, which makes my summer really awful, but it makes it all the more better when school starts again. Just remember it's only 3 1/2 months (at least for me).

  6. You just cry x*x lol

  7. Make plans for the summer and for the future.  Try to enjoy *now*, otherwise you're just wasting a chance for some happy times now, too.

  8. Don't worry hun, a lot of people get over it. Just keep in contact with each other, give each phone numbers, myspace url's, or just say "oh we're going to see next year." So yeah, it's alright.

  9. Get everyone to call everyone in your class and plan to meet at your favorite pizza joint or wherever on a regular basis throughout the summer.  That way some people might be out of town or whatever, but someone will always be there to hang out and reminisce.  It will also be a good starting point to plan other events.  Thurs night class of 08 meets a "taco loco" .  Have a good summer....

  10. Joke around them; do something funny. Laughter is the perfect antadote to crying
