  1. The best thing about the internet is the versatility. Search videos for cooking lessons and believe it or not even attend online. Of course you can take a "Learning annex class" or get a cookbook at the library but it is usually much easier to learn with examples and you can really save time with proper techniques. I also recommend you watch the food Network for ideas and inspiration. Don't forget family too if you have a good cook ask if you can help in the kitchen in exchange for a few lessons. Good Luck!

  2. go buy some recipe books or look up some recipes on-line.  Or you can take some cooking classes.  I learned how to cook from my mother, so that is an option as well

    hope i helped =]

  3. I just got a cookbook or 2 and attempted to cook - it's really pretty easy & fun!

  4. If I were just learning, I would go to my "Search Engine" and type in what it is, that I would like to cook. Such as "Spaghetti", "Tuna Casserole" etc. you will find many sites and many versions and step by step directions.

    Or

If you are a guy, ask a girl, or if you are a girl, ask a guy, it can be quite  fun.

    Or

If you have a friend that has a mother that is a great cook, ask her, she will be flattered.

  5. Ask your mom, grandma, Aunt or neighbor to teach you.

Get cookbooks at the library-Betty Crocker or other beginner books.

Watch cooking shows-Food Network has some great shows and their recipes and videos are on the web too. Good luck and happy cooking.

  6. I remember when I started to cook I experimented with the recipes i knew from my mother and family, I was doing great and was very happy with the results.

Then i got my first cook book and every week i would get sup lies for 2 recipes.if i liked them i would keep them and adopt them and so on.

I find today there is so much information so many different cuisines to try it can be overwhelming and maybe at the end discouraging.

So get a cook book that you think it is easy and not complicated and slowly start experimenting with a few recipes a week .

A very easy book designed especially for people like you in mind is the book Take the Taste of Greece with you totally uncomplicated and a joy to work with. You don't have to search the globe for ingredients, you can easily find them in your local market. The pictures of the book are amazing and you can see the end result,I love cook books with pictures especially from unknown territory,i don't like to be in the dark.

    Get this book and

Have fun and enjoy every moment.

  7. Here's what I did when I had to learn, get either the Better Homes & Gardens cookbook, or the Betty Crocker one.  They not only have tons of recipes ranging from easy to difficult, but tons of advice, photos, information, substitutions, etc.  Just pick one that looks easy and give it a try!  And if it doesn't turn out right the first time, don't get down on yourself, just try and figure out what went wrong and don't do it the next time.  Don't worry, we've all had our share of mistakes!

  8. Look into cooking classes or centers in your areas.  They will normally have beginner and advanced classes.

  9. just follow cook books youll get the nak sooner or later

  10. First of all, begin cooking what you love to eat the most, make it until you perfect the recipe. Then, start to alter the flavors and experiment with different foods and seasonings to see what works and what doesn't.  Research recipes and again, perfect them, then turn them into your own.  Look for cooking classes in your area and learn from everybody!  Don't discount any recipe that you haven't tried and learn all you can about the foods you are cooking with.  Before putting everything in a pot and tasting it after wards, taste it all individually, learn the basics first.  The old saying, "Cooking with love" comes from cooking what makes you feel good, happy memories of who you were with and the times you spent together.  Always have that in your heart and you'll do great!  Best of luck to you on your new adventure, it will be quite the ride!

  11. If you don't want to pay for a cooking class, just spend some time browsing www.kraftfoods.com . A lot of the recipes are pretty simple (some are not), there are lots of helpful videos, all kinds of great stuff on there. My favorite feature is the "5 meals - 1 bag" section on there.. check it out!

  12. its easier if you learn it from your mom or you can get cookbooks and cook the same meal over and over and you'll just remember how to make it. and voila! u know how to cook
