    If you really feel that he is abusing her try and get some evidence of the abuse . It will help you in your case against him .

  3. I don't want to nitpick, but someone doesn't have power of attorney "over" anyone.

    The real question here is a matter of abuse.  You'll have to have documented evidence of his misusing the POA - like mismanaging her finances, not attending to her healthcare, stealing, ...  stuff like that.

    Then you'll have to get an attorney involved to have the POA revoked.  That will include notifying all of the places where it is active.  And it's important for you to be clear about what kind of POA he has.  There's a Durable Medical Power of Attorney that empowers him to make healthcare decisions, including life-and-death decisions.  And there's an Administrative Power of Attorney that empowers him to make financial decisions including working with banks and financial institutions.  They're not the same and one does not empower him to act as the other.
