What do you do if your wiener pops out???

I was at a backyard barbecue the other day and my hotdog fell out of my bun. What is the proper etiquette around a group of people when this happens? Do I pick it up, clean it off, and put it back in the bun? Do I pick it up, throw it away, and ask for another hotdog? Do I turn and yell at a random person standing close by, "You just knocked my defenseless wiener down!" Help...I'm confused.

Pick it up and throw it away. It isn't considered rude it is the proper way to dispose of it.

This boy in class was repeatedly itching his crotch, the teacher asked him what was wrong, he said his wiener was itching like crazy.  She told him to leave the class and call his mother. The teacher latter saw the boy in the back of the class with his wiener hanging out. She exclaimed, "What are you doing? I thought I told you to call your mother." The boy said I did and my mom asked me if I could just stick it out until after school, and she would come to pick me up.

Pick up your wiener, dust it off, put some barbecue sauce on it and . . . don't be confused any option you mentioned would probably be O.K. with your wiener.

If there's a doggy close by, toss it to him and say "wanna drink with that?"  Then ask for a new one for yourself.  If no doggy is about, just toss it in the trash and ask for a new one.

If my wiener is clean, I'm not going to let it go to waste. Otherwise, women might think that something is wrong with me. I would grab it, slide it back between the buns, and get right back to it.

I thought you were asking a different question.  To that question I was going to say "Stuff it back in and hope no one saw you".  

Depending on how hungry I am or how good the hot dogs are I would probably have gotten it and scarfed it down before you could retrieve it and wash it off.  

I love parties.  Someone is always dropping food.
