What do you do in Spore?

Question

I have never played it but i have just played a demo for the one that comeing out for ds and i liked it becuse u get to create ur own creatuere and let it explore.

But i want to know what do u basicly do in the game ?

Basicly you start out with the single celled creature and then it evolves into new things. It continues until it evolves all the way into a civilzation. The fun of the game is how you make it evolve and into what based on the things you do.

Remember, it's from the creators of The Sims/SimCity, thus really, there is no goal, as it's all up to you what you do.  The demo is what the whole game essentially is.
