  1. A jumper show is just the same as your show jumping portion of your eventing.  It's a timed event... you go in the ring, the buzzer sounds, you have a limited amout of time to get your horse across the starting line, when you cross, your time starts, and you're supposed to finish the course in the time allowed.  If you don't, you get time faults.  You also get faults for refusals or knocking down rails.

The best jumpers are not the ones who go running at every fence as fast as they can.  Jumpers is all about your horse being able to make sharp turns and to be able to expand and condense his stride as needed.

    Good luck at the show!

  2. You have never jumped ! and you're entering a show. You need to start at the beginning, that's like entering a car race having never driven a car.

  3. A jumper show Teaches you and your horse rythme so your not just full out running at jumps.
