  1. There is no such thing as a university course in "flight engineering."  A flight engineer is a pilot who operates complex system controls and has related duties in an airliner.  The role of flight engineer in the airlines is being phased out because most newer aircraft have computerized controls and don't need a flight engineer.

You may be thinking of aeronautical engineering, which is a degree program offered by a number of universities.  Like any engineering curriculum, it is nothing but solid math.  Calculus, spherical trigonometry, vector analysis, and lots more fun.

If you want a non-mathematical career in aviation, try airport management or flight attendant training.

Good luck finding what you want.

  2. Is this a course to obtain an FAA certificate that allows you to be a flight engineer?  Most flight engineers are pilots first, or sometimes aircraft mechanics, and then flight engineers.  They do have jobs available, but just a few airlines hire FE's that are not pilots.  They are called professional flight engineers, and companys that still have them fly older aircraft with passengers or cargo.  I hope you are not saying that you don't like math or physics BECAUSE you are a woman!  Many women are very good at math and physics.  Hope this helps you.

  3. Look at the test book for the Flight Engineer written examination.
