What do you do on Casting for actor?

And what you do on audition? What the difference between both?

auditions and castings are the same thing. all castings will be different depending on what the project is... and who the casting director is.  At all of the castings ive been a part of the actor is basically asked to have a monologue prepared to perform, and then they are asked to read from the script they are trying out for.
