What do you do on Halo 3 when you run out of ammo for both guns?

I'm fighting all these aliens by myself, and I can't turn around 'cause the door's lock, and I'm out of ammo in both of my guns. Idk what to do next! I already stole a gun from an alien and I used all that up, and I'm afraid if I get too close to steal another I'll die.

find some guns or ammo ASAP! or die

Put your head between your legs and kiss your **** goodbye! (Or  the other way, just melee the opponent till he dies and get his gun)

your just gonna have to look for another gun cause there is no way to refill ammo, unless you find it
