What do you do on a bands street team?

It all depends on if the band has a label already and the funding.

Your main goal is to get the word out about the band. Pass out fliers about the location of an up coming concert.

It really depends on what street team...I belong to quite a few! =D

They are really cool actually - some you do minor things like, if you are going to a certain concert, you may be asked to pass out flyers for a band.  Sometimes you gain access to special things, like band merch. Sometimes you can get different "levels" depending on how much you do.  Many times you are also asked to participate in "advertising" contests, like whoever can put the most banners up on their websites win...that kind of thing. But like i mentioned, it all depends on the street team...
