They have all kinds so you can pick what you want to do ....... you could hike into the wilderness and fish lakes and learn survival training ........ you could go and tour Indian burial grounds ........ you could go on a white water rafting trip ........ you could pick a town and go on a bicycle tour ........ and you can join a group and go on a archaeological dig .......... and so many other options are available too ....... they have these holidays available all around the world and all type of activities are available to choose from ........ = )

Depends what you sign up for.  It may be a simple as hiking from place to place and staying with local families in their home.  This is great, as you really get a feel for how the actual culture works, you are seeing how your food is being made, how the household is run etc.  On the other hand, it may include white water rafting, hang gliding, and other such activities.
