What do you do to a severe burn?

i witnessed a plane crash in our town and the people were burned really bad and there skin was peeling off i had to just stand there because i didnt know what to do ive heard of ice should u cut thier clothes off?

In that scenario the best thing to do would be call 911.

In some cases clothes should be cut off; in other cases, the clothing has melted into the skin and should be left for professionals to deal with. And never apply ice to a burn, regardless of its severity. Cool water only. And again, with severe burns, leave it for the professionals.

call 911 and don't panic and don't put anything on it the other answer is right leave it to the professional, there is a serious risk for infection
