Question:

What do you do to get a horse to go faster?

do you nudge his side with your heel? im not sure....

  1. Depends on what kind of riding you are doing.  I usually give the horse a little "kick" in the sides, or just click my tongue.  I suppose it depends on how the horse was trained.

  3. In racing, they usually pull on the reins, pump them a bit, and use the whip as a cue.

    In regular riding, disciplines differ.  In general, squeeze with the legs, give a release signal with the reins, and sit forward a bit.  You can also use your rear to cue him, or verbal cues.  

    If that's not enough, then a nudge with your heel is in order.

    If he's already moving and you want him to do the same gait, only faster, you squeeze without the release signal from the reins.

    Then there's stopping... that's the real challenge! ;)

    But I will answer your question the best I can

    you nudge him with the inside of your calf sit back but light in ,,,Never lean forward  on a well broke horse,,

    and then is he does not go forward use your h**l softly sit and squeeze push him forward ,

    Its a tough question to answer Since we do not know what you mean by faster !!!!
