What do you do to save money?

I am a grad student with 2 kids living off my husband's income. We are having to cut back on everything and are squeaking by. Any tips? I am always open to any ways to save $$$ Thanks!!

Temporarily quit graduate school and go to work. Go back to school when you can afford it. You'll cut expenses and increase your income. Good luck.

You could always try to make more money. Don't ignore opportunities to make more money. There are many ways to make extra money out there.

I just recently went over my phone bill and switched to a new service co, savings: $45 plus a month.

Check your car insurance, get quotes on line,

cable bill do you really need all those channels?

Make a shopping list and stick with it never go shopping hungry...(I always learn the hard way...every time...lol),

Call you credit card co and ask to lower your interest rate (some will do it it happened to me).

restrict eating out

ahhh coupon clipping, I just started doing it again, I went shopping and the bill was 89.99, with coupons I paid 41.97.

Also, No matter what always put a little into a savings account FIRST, no matter how little the amount, it will add up, pretend that the savings account don't exist and soon there will be a nice chunk.
