  1. I converted my car to run on HHO gas. see my sig

  2. retired and stay home alot.

  3. I only put in gas when the fuel light comes on and I only fill half the tank.

I drive conservatively, use the cruise control when possible, follow the speed limits.

  4. I take the train to work.

  5. I walk to and from work. Or ride my bike.. Regardless of the weather, anytime that I can.

    Otherwise, I carpool.

  6. Forget all the "SAVE GAS" scams.  Here is the REAL DEAL.

There's very simple rules to save gas:

    (1) drive slow - not too much past 55

    (2) accelerate slowly

    (3) don't brake unnecessarily

    (4) use cruise control - whenever it is safe to do so.

Don't coast - it is NOT safe and it does NOT save gas.

The above really works. Using those simple rules I was able to drive from Boston to NYC (210.5 miles) on just 5.112 gallon (94 Civic).  That's 41 MPG (94 Civic 187K miles).

    WOW !!

    Good Luck...

P.S.  Only if I can make money on this ...

  7. Changed air filter and plugs,  checked front end alignment, removed heavy rear towing bar, removed luggage carrier cross bars, removed extra weight from car.

Leave early and drive slower and smoother.  turn engine off if stop light delays me more than 60 seconds.

walk or bike if under 5 miles and weather OK.

calculate cost of driving very far to save small amounts of money.

Call  ahead to see if merchant has product in stock.

  8. I fill up my gas tank with Skittles....the tropical fruit flavored ones.
