  1. Bring some interesting magazines. They don't require the patience that a book does. You might consider investing in one of those little DVD players with the viewscreen built in along. That way you're not limited to whatever schlock the airline is trying to put in front of you. Video games are good too - maybe a PSP?

  2. If you're going on a long flight, 3+hrs, then you could watch the movie on the plane, you could bring a book to read, listen/watch an Ipod, do games on a laptop (not online), magazines, games, puzzles (Sodoku is great), or you could just sleep.

  3. Portable DVD player

    Sleep

    Music

    Puzzle books are entertaining

    books in general

  4. Im going to the airport in 10 minutes, Im just gonna: sleep, read, eat (at lunch), talk, and if theres a tv imma watch that :) besides that, i dont really do anything else

  5. I often go on long-haul flights. The trick that works the best for me is to stay up the entire night before, then I tend to sleep through the whole flight.

I realise that this may not work for a lot of people, however. Failing the sleep-through plan, I like to read and listening to music. As someone else earlier on suggested, you may want to bring along some magazines that do not require the same amount of concentration (?) that a book does. Though, I usually have a couple of books as well.

  6. they have travel game that you can buy.it works great for me.

  7. I look outside the window in the hopes of finding something interesting

  8. Its not only you who is going to have to bear the long flight journey. Others too. So, there is a 90% chance that your neighbour will also be bored. Talk and get acquainted. The more you smile and be nice, the more interesting it will be talking with someone.

Iam gonna be on a 25 hr flight journey time this weekend. Iam leaving Chicago on an international travel. Planned to do the same, especially if she is a hot chick. lol

  9. Newspapers, magazines, puzzles (lil booklet type), electronic games, computer, another person, people around you who want to chitchat, eat, drink, sleep, look out the window, watch one of their movies, rummage thru your bag...Have a good trip

  10. I like to listen to interesting reading material on my iPod on the airplane. I use a free website called YAKiToMe! http://www.yakitome.com to turn electronic any text files and email into audio books that I can download to my iPod and listen to it on the go. It's really useful for staying up to date on my reading and on work. And since it fits on my iPod, I don't have to turn pages in a cramped seat.
