Well living in the location with the most polluting electricity generation gives me a bit of an advantage over you people so I can still waste enough despite having a CFL (which is on during the middle of the day) and a laptop.

Have to do my bit to increase energy usage during stupid time, try to wipe out that 7‰ energy saving c**p they promote for it.

I don't always remember to turn off lights in the rooms I'm not in. Plus I have several appliances that have LED displays that never turn off.

I heat my Olympic pool to 95 degrees F all year round using electricity from a coal fired powered plant and I built a floating model of the Island of Doctor Moreau using .030" brass shim stock and an electric soldering iron.   I also watch Baldwin Brother and Sean Penn films in my electric home theater.  I also switched out all my light bulbs to high pressure sodium vapor lamps, so that my house looks like a truck stop at night and can be seen from space.
