  1. Well, you may want to reasearch the sexual-harrassment and sexuall intimidation that's been taking place in the U.N.

    They'll REALLY like you.

  2. become a diplomat, take political courses in college and apply for work at the state Department

  3. PLease don't it sounds nice but the UN is nothing but a front and fraud.

Look at their record in Sudan, Nigeria, anywhere in Africa or Asia. Check out the way they let millions dies in eastern Europe. They are corrupt and ineffectual BY DESIGN.

If you want to do something grand work with a relief organization. Go to medical school and volunteer overseas. Adopt a village or a family in the 3rd world and go over and help them.

The UN just stalls until the great powers decide how to carve up the bodies on the battle field, don't throw your life away.

  4. Take a major in in Political Science, or Economics, would probably be a good idea to do courses on Development as well as International Relations. Have a look on their website at http://www.un.org/english/ and see what sort of area interests you.

You can try to join Model UN clubs to get a feel for how things work. Also make sure you read the newspapers or news magazines such as Time or the Economist so you know what is going on around the world.

    Good luck, hope this helps.
