What do you do wene your computer crashes?

my other computer crashed. the blue screen pops up wene i turn it on and says it will automatically shut down.

please help!

  2. The BSOD (Blue Screen of Doom) is most often caused by a faulty device or device driver and isolating which device/driver can be difficult. So disconnect all peripherals from your computer (except mouse and keyboard) and restart. No BSOD? Then turn off and start adding your devices one at a time booting after each addition. When you boot and get a BSOD then the device last added is the problem. Download the latest driver and install it - if you still get the BSOD then you need to have the device checked for faults.

    Sorry this is a lengthy process but there isn't any other way with the limited information that you give.

    theres nothing you an do, just turn restart the pc

    or you can always slam the keyboard and smash the pc screen using the keyboard then rip off the mouse

  6. Both Vista and XP have excellent tools to help you discover why the computer crashed. You should use these tools to give you vital data. Windows event viewer and Problem Reports are are two such tools. Use it then you will know what to do from there:

    1.Click Start

    2.Click Control Panel

    3. Click System and Maintenance

    4. Click Administrative Tools

    5. Double-Click Event Viewer.

    6. Under Windows logs, Click System tab

    7. Check for red errors icons and the exclamation icons.
