Question:

What do you do when someone asks you why you chose to be LGBT?

So people always come up to me and ask me why I chose to be g*y. Well, I keep telling them over and over again that it's not a choice.

But I'm thinking, that since they refuse to believe me, I could just say something funny or snappy back to them.

So I just wanna know, if any of you LGBT people say something different than, "I didn't choose." when someone asks you why you chose to be LGBT I would like you to share it, if you'd like to.

  1. I always tel them

*sarcastic tone* "my first time was was with a boy,he was so amazing that no s*x with any other boy would ever compare to how mind blowing it was,so the only other option was to become a L*****n"

or say "I was told to accept Jesus into my heart"

haha they always look at me with such shock lol.

you could say something like that only say your first time was with a girl.

  2. If they're the same gender I'd be like "so that I could be with you." or something along those lines. Freak 'em out good

  3. just like you, i answer that is not a choice, but if I could come back and tell my opinion...it woulded be! ; )

  4. give them the look that says "are you a f*cken idiot?" and walk away.

  5. tell them

"About the same time you chose to be straight"

  6. i would either gross them out by saying: "I chose to be g*y when my heterosexual mother had s*x with my heterosexual father"

    OR

stick it to them by saying: "I chose to be g*y around the same time you chose to be an A.R.S.E H.O.L.E!"

  7. "Well, i had to pick something :-)"

    "g*y? ... c**p, i read the bible wrong"

"Because i just have a thing for leather"

"Because I've always loved musical theater and Celine Dion, things just fell into place from there"

    " ... The s*x"

"Because people are just so much nicer to g*y people *cough*"

    "God told me to"

"Well, i was going to choose to be straight, but men and women ***** about each other so much, society pointed the way for me and i've never been happier ... sucks to be you"

  8. I usually say why did you chose to be straight. or it's not a choice you idiot, stuff like that.

  9. I would discourage you from giving a 'flippant' remark...remember, you're dealing with people who may not be too bright...and, given that fact, you don't want to say anything which will further confuse them, alienate them...or insult them...  Remember the KISS Principle...Keep It Simple Stupid...hahaha...it works!,,,

  10. Honestly, I live in Canada and we do have equal protection here, these myths just don't stick around here. I really don't have time to deal with people who will not accept me, period. Why are you even associating with these types. They rarely change, just move on. Tell them to go *&%% themselves, that is what i would be doing if it was me.

Either that or do something to make them hugely uncomfortable. When guys would ask me if I was g*y I used to ask if they needed pointers on giving head. I mean why else would they need that sort of privledged info about me?
