What do you do when someone keeps legs on your chair at a movie theater?

I politely let them know it is disturbing me.  Most people comply to my request, and remove their legs.  Unless they are just a bunch of hooligans.

Ask them to please remove them. If they don't, contact management and they will speak with them, maybe even make them leave.

This is why I hate taking my daughter to see movies at the theater. Some parents drop their little hellions off and don't supervise them and they act up like this. I don't let them get by with it, I paid my hard earned money so my daughter and I could ENJOY a movie and I refuse to put up with it.

Politley ask them to move them.

The problem is, that the kind of jerk who would do this in the first place, is unlikely to respond to reason or polite requests.

If you say anything, he'll spend the rest of the movie kicking the back of your chair.

Which leaves you with two choices:

[1] Tell the usher.

[2] A quick karate chop to snap his leg in two.

Both methods have pros and cons, I'll leave it up to you to decide which is most comfortable for you.

I like to hit on their girlfriend and get her to leave with me.  He can have my chair for his legs.  ;-)
