I HAVE TWIN SONS THAT HAVE CEREBRAL PALSY.

THEIR TEACHER HAD BEEN BULLYING THEM VERBRALLY AND EMOTIONALLY SINCE DECEMBER 2006. MAY 2007 I TOOK THEM OUT OF THE SCHOOL TO STOP THIS BEHAVIOUR BECAUSE THE PRINCIPAL(WHO HAPPENS TO BE THIS TEACHERS CLOSE FRIEND) DENIED THAT THIS TEACHER COULD DO SUCH A THING. I HAVE BEEN THROUGH ALL THE RIGHT CHANNELS REGARDING THIS COMPLAINT BUT THEY HAVE ALL CLOSED RANK. THE EDUCATION BOARD SAID THAT SHE WOULD ONLY GET A' SLAP ON THE WRIST' EVEN IF SOMEONE ELSE COMPLAINS. AT THE MOMENT I HAVE BROUGHT IN MY LOCAL MP TO SEE IF HE CAN DO ANYTHING. I THINK THIS IS A DISGRACE. NO CHILD SHOULD HAVE FEAR GOING INTO SCHOOL. THEY ALL HAVE A RIGHT TO GO TO SCHOOL AND HAVE THE EDUCATION THAT THEY ARE ENTITLED TO WITHOUT FEAR.THIS TEACHER IS ON MATERNITY LEAVE AT THE MOMENT AND I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT BY LAW SHE CANNOT BE INTERVIEWED UNTIL SHE OFFICALLY COMES OFF HER LEAVE, WHICH IS NOT UNTIL FEBRUARY 2008.

I THINK THAT TEACHERS WHO BULLY SHOULD BE HIGHLIGHTED MORE.

  1. The first step is always write your complaints out. Even if you give a verbal complaint follow it up with a written.

Second file a complaint with the department of education. This issue is a civil right violation more then an IEP violation. If you cannot afford an attorney there are organizations that offer free attorney support especially for a civil rights violation.

If you are in the United States and you are not getting anywhere with your state department of education contact the US Dept of education. You might get more support that way.

I would request change of placement.

  2. Can you send your children to a different school?

It may very well be time

  3. 1. First what you do is, you go to the school board. If that doesn't help

    2. File a police report.  On the School. If that doesn't work.

    3. Email a televised court show like Judge Judy at judgejudy.com, or email Judge Joe Brown at judgejoebrown.com, You can sue up to $5,000.  The school will be embarrassed, when someone puts them on TV.

You need some one to take care of the business for you? Judge Judy or Judge Joe Brown is the Judges to go to.

  4. Almost afraid to answer this question since this situation sounds very familiar..... I have witnessed bullying, I am afraid to tell anyone for fear of my job,  and i feel guilty at the same time for not standing up for these children who can't stand up for themselves.  Personally I think Teachers who bully should be fired, especially if they are in special education. If I were you I would pursue it, go to the superintendent of the school district, go to the local news, they love investigating this kind of thing.  I think I will be stronger now knowing I'm not the only one feeling this way.. Thank you and I wish you all the Luck in the World..

  5. You need some one who is on your side. Look in your local telephone book and get the number for your local parent partnership. They will help you with letter writing and go to meetings with you. In short usually they are on your side. Also you should put your complaint in writing to the local education authority, the school and your local MP. A good idea is to also write a letter to the minister for education in the government. Teachers do bully some children and get away with it by closing ranks, you need to make as much noise as you can. Good luck.

  6. hire a private investigator to catch the teacher in the act, then file lawsuit or present documents to police.

you are right, teachers should not be allowed to bully any child.

  7. tell that teacher to ******* die

  8. Option 1: File a law suit.

#2. Kick the c**p out of her

    #3. Change schools.

  9. report them to the principal!
