I bought a one-way flight to Norway awhile ago. I have a home here, a boyfriend, but I can't get a job because I don't have permission to do so. I want to go home (back to the states) but I have very little money and there's no one with enough money to help me fund the trip. What can I do?

  1. find someone you know who might lend you the money that you need.

  2. go to your embassy or consulate, they will likely be able to help you.

  3. Find a church and tell them you need some help. Be sure to pay them back.

  4. stop eating and start saving money for a plane ticket!

or call your friends and loved ones in the US and ask them to send you money for the ticket.

get a job that will pay you under the table

plead your case to the norwegian government and see if they'll at least grant you temporary status to work there

  5. Report to their immigration authorities and ask to be deported. They will send you back and usually give you a bill for the flight that you are usually asked to pay back, or the bill will become payable if you return there.
