What do you do when you're feeling hungry...?

ok, i finished work and made my way straight down to pizza express. having had a lovely starter followed by the best pizza ever, i found myself still hungry. i've eaten in addition to the above a tub of pasta salad but i feel sooooo hungry!

what do you do to curb your hunger? i really can't be dealing with eating more. i can't possibly be hunger.

  1. The above tips on eating water are good.  You might be dehydrated, especially with all that salty food.  Tasty sounding pizza!  

    Try eating your food slowly.  This gives it more time to hit your stomach and you will feel fuller with less food.

  2. first of all, i commend you for the goat cheese on your pizza.  i see that you are a very classy eater.  i recommend that you sit down and have a warm glass of goats milk.  this should curb your appetite very quickly.

  3. If your eating habits are unbalanced, like you don't eat breakfast, this may cause you to become constantly hungry. Try drinking water more often, eating fruits, and if your bored and want to eat, go for a walk instead. That way, you'll also be healthy. Peace:)

  4. Looks as if you are a 'professional luncheon eater!' Most unwise. Eat moderately, and, remember, that, pizza is of no 'nutritional value' - you are just filling your belly.

  5. That was an unusual pizza. It you are still hungry, drink plenty of water that should curve your appetite.

  6. Try brushing your teeth, I can't face eating anything after I've done that, it usually works for me.

  7. Have you drunk enough water? Apparently the body often confuses the signal of needing water, with being hungry...

    If youre still hungry after that, eat some more. Thats the normal thing to do. People will tell you to drink water, but I know when Im hungry if I drink water I just feel sick...like a fish near the surface who wont sink.

  12. Two things in particular can make you feel hungry when you can't possibly be: thirst and indigestion.

    The first is easy, of course -- drink a couple of big glasses of water. Everything you ate was probably pretty salty, so that might make you thirsty too.

    The second is a bit harder. You can mix about half a teaspoon of baking soda with some water and sip it, or if you have some antacid around you can take that. It's hard to know for sure it it's indigestion, though. Maybe try something mild like Tums, which have calcium anyway, and if that helps you'll know you're onto something. Or drink a glass of milk and see if your hunger goes away.

    If you just want something to help you not keep eating, try brushing and flossing your teeth. This often tells your brain that eating time is over.

    That sounds delicious and has had the effect of making me feel hungry now even though I've had dinner. I guess I'll join with the rest and suggest a glass of cold water to deal with those hunger pangs.

  14. drink lots of water. or take the dog for a run...smoke loads (not reccomended)

  15. maybe your not hungry and just bored.. i mainly find my self eating because im bored and have nothing to do.

    Or it could be that yur thirsty because most of the time people mistake thirst for hunger.
