  1. they only thing you can do wrong at this point is not to send or do something!!!

    anything is fine!

  2. Agree with most of the other answerers. See, this is the reason why people who have absolutely no clue what they are doing and clearly aren´t thinking at all ("we only....") should NOT be allowed to carry and/or fire guns.... duh.

  3. Offer to pay his medical bills and hope (pray) that he doesn't sue you.

  4. What's this "we" c**p? Two people had their fingers on the trigger at once? Chances are your neighbor is just waiting till he feels better before calling his lawyer. And you should notify your insurance company immediately. Part of the terms of a policy usually make you responsible for notifying them within a certain time period. Your agent will advise you whether to send a gift or not. And get rid of the gun, you obviously aren't responsible enough to own one.

  5. first of all, you shouldn't say "you only..." that's kinda belittling the situation.... secondly yes you should do something nice like buy em dinner, movie tickets, flowers what ever just don't do nothing.... you need to show him/ her how really sorry you are and that it wasn't "only" winging em...sorry to sound kinda rude, but i'll tell you what, if you "only" winged me, i'd be pretty pissed and tramatized thinking "what if" it was worse?

  6. Why the heck would you be practicing in a residential neighborhood?  Not only is that irresponsible, that is probably illegal.  I would call your insurance company right away, and probably a lawyer too.  Send your neighbor something nice...men don't like flowers, but maybe you can send him some Allen Brothers Steaks or something like that.

  7. I would offer to pay for his physical therapy and look into your homeowner's policy for such things.  I would try to be as nice to him as possible otherwise he might sue you.

  8. pay his bills.  see if your homeowner's insurance will cover this and pray you don't get sued.  use the gun only in approved areas.

  9. Lol!  I LOVE this.  Had it been me, I could not have resisted either.  A moving target (which isn't a much beloved pet or other animal - yes I know poeple will correct me in the animal/mammal dept.).

To anser your question, I'd buy him a little Bersa and get him some lessons - this way:

    1.  If he does decided to take legal action you can say you were defending yourself (who is going to go into the time sequence of things ...).

    2.  You can play cowboys and indians (when he is feeling better)!!!

    :O).

  10. Usually you go to jail! You should definitely NOT have a gun if you are that irresponsible.

  11. Yeah, you should definitely notify your homeowner's insurance and see if accidental shootings are covered.  You can bet he's going to come after you, and it is better to have your insurance handle it, assuming they will cover it.
