What do you do when you can't sleep??

I seem to have a lot on my mind.

And I can't sleep.

  1. I usually clean the house.

    If that doesn't do it than I call a good friend who I know is also a late owl and talk with him.

    If he is not available I play on Pogo.com

    Cross stitch also helps keep you relaxed and focused on the craft and oof of what is bothering you.


  2. If you have a lot on your mind then the best way is probably to write a diary before you go to bed, if you just pour out everything thats on your mind it really helps and refreshes you. I write things down when things are getting to me and i cant tl u how much it hlps!!! Also, have a bath and a hot drink b4 u go 2 bed as it will hlp u 2 relax. ppl also also find yoga hlps but i havent tried vat lol, hope vat hlps u  

  3. Listen to classical music or drink a cup of warm milk. It helps

  4. I employ a variety of activities to help me get to sleep depending on the situation.  

    Exercise - a great way to relieve stress/tension as well as make yourself promote a normal sleep schedule.

    Reading - get a good book and read until you cannot keep your eyes open.

    T.V./Movie - really the same as a book but only works for me sometimes.


  5. I go on Yahoo! Answers until I fall asleep at my desk. Or I pick up a book on philosophy (books by Socrates, Locke, etc).  That's usually puts me to sleep quickly.
